Some of the most stunning beaches in the world, the sight of these remarkable vacation spots will surely make you eager to plan your next getaway. A recurrent theme you’ll notice is the smooth white sand and crystal blue waters found on the following islands of paradise. Along with each picturesque view, there you’ll find yourself escaping your mind and become lost in serenity, drifting off to the faintness of the sweeping tides.

Phi Phi Islands, Thailand

The Phi Phi islands are situated in between Phuket Island and the Western Andaman Sea coast. This luxury oasis is blanketed in silky white sand, its sparkling waters are exceptionally clear effortlessly displaying it’s exotic forms of sea life and colourful coral. The 2000 film The Beach staring Leonardo DiCaprio, brought floods of tourism after the breathtaking beauty of Maya Bay was presented on the big screen. The natural beauty of these islands has been protected by National Park status as a result of the upsurge in tourism.

Cala Luna, Sardinia

Cala Luna translates to half moon, chosen to describe the 700 metre long half moon crescent shape of its shoreline. One of the most breath-taking and natural beaches found in all of Europe, this Italian paradise is named the most beautiful bay of the Mediterranean. Radiating colours of turquoise and emerald, avid snorkelers and scuba divers are enticed as the crystal clear sea readily shows off its diverse ocean life.

Natadola Beach, Figi

The most beautiful beach of Viti Levu (Figi’s largest island) and one of the finest in all of Figi, Natadola Beach is often referred to as a Jewel. This pristine heaven is relatively isolated allowing it to bestow supreme tranquility and relaxation upon its visitors, making it an idyllic escape. It is quilted in immaculate white sand and bordered by palm trees stretching 1.6 km, on looking a marvellous lagoon just off the shoreline. Poipu Beach, Hawaii

Tenerife, Canary Islands

Part of the Spanish archipelagio and located off the northwest coast of mainland Africa, Tenerife is part of the Canary Islands which are a Spanish Autonomous Community and outer region of the European Union. Interestingly, Tenerife as part of the Canary Islands is a remnant of extinct volcanoes and also the largest; it’s volcanic crater (the third tallest volcano in the world) can be found in the centre of the island. White Beach, Boracay Island, Philippines

Located 200 miles south of Philippine’s capital Manila and previously home to the Ati Tribe until it became a widespread tourist escape in the 1980’s. Again credit is due to a foreign movie featuring the island and since then taking a gradual turn to become a beautiful cosmopolitan destination. According to Yahoo Travel it is the World’s Most Popular Beach in 2007, attracting tourists from around the globe. Surrounded by reefs and glittery clear waters, its beauty ought not to be missed.

Pink Sands Beach, Harbour Island, Bahamas


Stretching 3 miles long and between 50-100 feet wide, Pink Sands Beach is a unique tropical treat. One of the very best in Bahamas, its faint cherry sand acquires its colour from tiny shelled creatures named Foraminifera. They are single celled organisms found under reefs, the ocean floor, and beneath cave rocks. The sand then is a mixture of broken shells, tiny rocks, and calcium carbonate from marine invertebrate. Many travellers enjoy bone-fishing, reef fishing, and deep-sea fishing in these beautiful waters.

Whitehaven Beach, Australia
