God grant me the ambition to foresee,
The strength to succeed;
The intelligence to know,
The motivation to grow;
Show me the righteous way,
In your direction I shall sway.
Provide me with opportunity,
And help me to attain unity.
Of the universe keep me conscious,
Oh how I long to know all of it.
Give me courage and direction,
Along the way regarding life’s beauty with affection.
Direct me away from all temptation;
Release me from all frustration.
Grant me serenity and peace,
To you I pray on my knees.
Help me to forgive and to accept,
To show the love that should not be kept.
Give me the will to help others in need,
Paying my debts through every good deed.
Grant me success and keep me humble,
Aid me in the face of earthly trouble.
Keep me disciplined and aware,
Displaying to others that I care.
Remind me to give that which is due,
In good faith, allow me to be closer to you.
Keep my family safe and keep us healthy,
For this single blessing makes us truly wealthy.
