Best Morning Drink!

Nothing like a quick fix body cleanse to start off your day. This simple remedy has been a part of Traditional Chinese Healing for ages. Slice up 1/2 lemon and add to an 8 oz glass of filtered warm or room temperature water.

The benefits of lemon:

  • cleanses the body of accumulated toxins
  • alkalizes and purifies the blood- Many of the foods and beverages we tend to consume are acidic (coffee, alcohol, artificial sweeteners,  processed foods, canned fruit, etc.) however, our body runs optimally when we consume alkaline foods.
  • provides digestive relief when mixed with hot water (bloating, belching, heartburn).
  • skin rejuvenation- When toxins are removed from the body the skin is the first noticable benefit. Prepare to shine! Also considered an anti-aging remedy*
  • combats infections- it’s high vitamin C content makes it a powerful fighter against illness.
  • liver tonic- this allows the liver breakdown waste more efficiently. Also believed to help dissolve gallstones.
  • a diuretic, helping the body to flush out waste and bacteria
  • eliminates headaches (a side effect of caffeine). So if you’re going to sip on a cup of java it may be a good idea to pair it with lemon water!

  1. I love this drink!! After being a daily coffee drinker to switching to hot tea to become healthier i was concerned on the side effects of both coffee and Hot Tea. Come to find out that there are severval negative side effects in Hot Tea that could cause several serious conditions to health. So after searching for the best morning drinks. I have come across a winner!! that right this is excellent!! you feel great with yourself knowing that what your taking in is healthy and it make you want to change your daily eating habits as well as take on exercise. i couldnt be happier with the way my body looks and feels.
