Yesterday, throngs of well-dressed fashionistas, media, and celebs gathered for the kick-off of World MasterCard Fashion Week in Toronto with the following fab designers: MIZ by Izzy Camilleri, Chloe comme Parris, Pink Tartan, and BUSTLE. MIZ by Izzy Camilleri showcased a collection that was a ready-to-wear sleek designs for the stylish, mature, and sophisticated woman. Chloe comme Parris showcased their custom prints, hardware, textiles, and statement jewelry – brought together in a sort of “haute grunge” look. Pink Tartan embraced their reputation for simplistic elegance using Constance Langdon and Marnie Edgar as blonde muses for a style affair with the 60s. Last, BUSTLE‘s “Royal Rebel” Collection was saturated in rich colors, luxe fabrics, and fearless prints as they demonstrated Britain’s Bad Boys at their best.

Meanwhile backstage, Redken was showcasing the Bohemian Grunge trend from Chloe Comme Parris for FW 13/14, calling it a natural flow with a bit of attitude!
