Green tea is one of my absolute favorite things! I aim to drink two cups per day as it is one of the most effective natural methods in clearing up skin, metabolizing fat stores, while even acting as prevention for the cold and flu! It’s an abundant source of phytochemicals and catechins, serving as a potent anti-oxidant for health and skin care alike.
Not only do I drink two cups a day but I also DIY my own facial toner using: 1 cup freshly brewed organic green tea, 1 Tbsp organic aloe vera juice (I use Land Art), 1 Tbsp witch hazel, a splash of organic apple cider vinegar (to balance your skin’s pH), 5 drops of lavender essential oil, and 5 drops of tea tree oil. Let the tea cool before mixing in the rest of the ingredients (since they may lose their potency with heat), mix and store in a glass spray bottle (would be ideal). Refrigerate and use within a week (since we aren’t using a preservative).
You can even get creative and start gifting it to friends! Below I made a Green Tea Toner, Lip Balm, and Oil-Absorbing Powder–all natural.
If you drink 1-2 cups of Green Tea per day and use this recipe to make your own toner (using it twice, morning and night)–you will DEFINITELY see improvement in your skin. I urge you to give it a try

I would love to win as my nan loves green tea and she’s just had an operation which means she hasn’t really had a chance to do anything and I would like to treat her to something I know she loves xx

Green tea is really soothing and would be perfect for my acne prone skin. So many products break me out and green tea with it’s calming properties and anti oxidants will hopefully work:)
