Since Keeping Up with the Kardashians premiered in October 2007, this golden family has rose to international fame. Kris Kardashian mothered 4 children (Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, and Rob) in her previous marriage to prominent defense lawyer Robert Kardashian. Then after her marriage to Bruce Jenner they welcomed Kendall and Kyle into the ever-growing Kardashian bunch. Featuring this family’s chaotic and glamorous lifestyle as reality entertainment, it continues to capture fans as the family members branch off into even more widespread success.
Beginning in LA with the opening off DASH clothing boutique and Smooch children’s wear, the family began their retail empire. In August 2009 Kourtney and Khloe brought their success to Miami, opening a new DASH store in South Beach along with a TV series to document their escapades (Kourtney and Khloe take Miami). All the while the sister’s snagged endorsement deals with major companies like Bebe and GNC (Quick Trim), created their own fashion line K-DASH, and released their collective autobiography Kardashian Konfidential in November 2010. Reaching even higher, Kim Kardashian closes several perfume deals, endorses ShoeDazzle shopping, creates a workout DVD series Fit in your Jeans by Friday, appears in Dancing With the Stars, and graces the covers of countless magazines.
Most recent, Kourtney and Kim launch their third DASH store in NYC and you guessed it, another reality series joins them called Kourtney and Kim take New York which premiered January 2011. The success never seems to fall short with the Kardashians and more is definitely sure to come. What I like about the Kardashian sisters is that they are more real and relatable than one would expect, not to mention they have a humorous attitude and inspiring determination. It’s hard not to like them and keep up with their adventures through life. Go Kardashian!
