Save the Date: Aviva Cosmetic Clinic Grand Opening + Giveaway

Aviva-Cosmetic-Clinic-TorontoThere’s a new cosmetic clinic in town, Toronto that is 😉 ! I had the opportunity to check it out before it officially opened…and let’s just say its one you won’t want to let slip past your radar. They’ve got quite the roster of amazing (actually, essential) services, a fantastic team catering to your needs, and a beautiful atmosphere with cutting edge equipment. It’s Aviva Cosmetic & Laser Clinic and after my first visit I was convinced, they’re sure to keep you flawless.

aviva-cosmetic & laser-clinic-torontoThe treatment of choice for my visit was the Visia Facial Analysis & Microdermabrasion Facial (which is what I’ll also be giving away at the end of this post). Both of these completely awesome experiences go hand-in-hand and I’ll tell you why.

First, the Visia Facial Analysis takes a 3D image of your face and analyses your complexion into the deepest layers of your skin. Very cool, but scary at the same time. It detects everything–wrinkle measurement, pore depth, pigment disturbances, UV damage, lingering bacteria, and an overall analysis of skin condition. It also quantifies your results and compares your skin to other women in your age group. Basically, you get to see what’s working for you, what’s not, and what you need to improve on in terms of protecting and maintaining your skin! With collaborative treatment planning (or even just the addition of a good daily sunscreen and adequate skin care products) you can actually use the Visia Facial Analysis to track your improvement.

Second, this is where the treatment part comes in. Although my skin results were pretty good for my age category (with all this beauty blogging, lets hope so!), there were definitely some areas for concern and even just more maintenance. For me, I know I could use regular facials and heavy exfoliation, like microdermabrasion. I tend to get lazy with appointments–so this is something I’ve let slip for awhile. Yet, it makes all the difference, both immediately post-treatment and in the long-term!

aviva-cosmetic-laser-clinicSo after my mini facial analysis wake-up call, I was super excited to get beautified. It was all that I expected and more.

Although I’ve done micordermabrasion in the past, I forgot how essential it is and the amazing results that come from it. In case you are not familiar with microdermabrasion, it is basically a machine that utilizes crystals as the abrasive method of choice, removing several layers of the epidermis (outer layer of skin). What this does is promote skin regeneration, collagen stimulation, prevents breakouts caused by the build-up of dead skin, and reveals what is beautiful and flawless beneath.

Needless to say, my face ended up smoother than ever and the most radiant I’ve seen it in months. It also made my makeup look nicer and everything as a whole just more polished and frresh. This treatment left me excited and wanting more, which is why I also want to share it with a lucky reader!

  1. I agree with you. I keep forgetting how nice my skin is after a treatment. Visia sounds like a treatment I need to try and Aviva looks beautiful!!

  2. This would be pretty fabulous to try! Would love to see my skin afterwards!

  3. Totally with you on not always keeping up-to-date with my facial appointments, so a tad bit scared, but also so excited to try this! Great reminder!
