On Tuesday, September 10th I was invited to experience the one and only VARIETY Studio with Moroccanoil for TIFF 2013. It was a private interview lounge where celebrities came to discuss their newest films with Variety Magazine and indulge in some pampering and relaxation. For me, it was a chance to meet many great actors (Keanu Reeves!!)…and of course, get some pampering as well 😉
The Moroccanoil beauty team was in full force–dishing out the most amazing hand massages and jaw-dropping hair transformations.
First, an invigorating scrub infused with dried orange peel was used to gently exfoliate my hands and arms (Moroccanoil’s “Body Buff”). Unlike other scrubs, there was ZERO mess and just all around goodness. As the exfoliative grains were being wiped away, it’s key ingredient Argan oil is left behind, completely nourishing the skin. This was followed by the Moroccanoil “Body Soufflé” which is ultra creamy and rich in shea butter, argan oil, and aloe vera for some intense hydration. As if my skin wasn’t already the softest ever! I then had Moroccanoil’s brand new shimmering body oil applied for a dewy golden shine. My skin was transformed to that of Egyptian Royalty–I kid you not.
It was a great day….
I then had Moroccanoil’s beautiful Amy Stolly give me the most amazing hair transformation (literally drab to fab) along with some great tips and tricks. We went for a “Deconstructed Daytime Glam” look.
First, using the Moroccanoil Heat Styling Protection, Amy divided my hair into small sections and gave a light spritz on each piece (approx 8-10 inches away from my head). The Moroccanoil Root Boost was also sprayed onto the scalp to help lift the roots and create more volume.
Next, she took small even-sized sections and curled them in the same direction (away from face). Once my whole head was curled, she the took the curls, stretching and separating them with her fingertips to provide that big, glam look. Its super easy and completely changes the final appearance of your hairdo. Finally, she lightly teased the crown of my head and set my hair with Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray for medium hold.
